Psychology Professional Advisory Group (PsyPAG)

Welcome to the PsyPAG web page. The PsyPAG functions in a resource and advisory capacity to assist in the development, coordination, training and evaluation of activities related to the Psychology professional discipline in the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS). Under the guidance of the Health Services PAC and the Chief Professional Officer, our focus includes the following objectives:

• Advise the Surgeon General and Senior Officials on discipline specific matters.
• Identify professional development opportunities and encourage a commitment for best practices.
• Promote ongoing training and clinical advancements of Psychological interventions related to disaster mental health (for victims and responders).
• Proudly represent the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps.
