The role of the CHES/CE Opportunities Sub-Committee under the Health Promotion and Health Education Track is to serve as a resource for officers seeking CHES certification and continuing education opportunities related to career development. Attached is a list of free or low cost webinars, trainings, and self-study opportunities for September 2015.

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and Academy Health are cohosting the 2015 AHRQ Research Conference from October 4-6, 2015 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Crystal City, VA. The registration fee is $150 for members and $225 for non-members. You must register by October 3, 2015. There are sveral tracks at the conference including improving health care quality, increasing accessibility to health care and health equity.
